How to play

The game

Add your players, then pass the device around. Each player answers a round of random questions on their turn - 3, 5 or 10, chosen at setup. When everyone has played, the game summary and leaderboard show how it went.

Scoring

  • Pick your path - every question starts with a choice: type the answer, or see four options for half the points. The choice is final - once you've seen the letter boxes or the options, there's no switching.
  • Typed answer - 4 points. The boxes show the shape of the answer once you commit. Stuck? Submit an unfinished row to pass and reveal it.
  • Multiple choice - 2 points. Pick from four options.
  • Ask a friend - split the points: you and your helper get 2 each (or 1 each with multiple choice). Helpers can be chosen or switched any time before you submit.
  • Wrong answers score nothing - so choose your path wisely.

Host mode

Turn it on at game setup and Start quiz opens a second tab to drag onto a TV. Players answer out loud: the host sees the answer with Correct, Wrong and Pass buttons, and a request for multiple choice puts four options on the big screen for half points.

Quizmaster tools

Running the quiz? During a question, the menu (top left) has quizmaster tools: swap the current question for a fresh one, remove a chosen helper, or overturn a right/wrong verdict after judging.

Leaderboard

Scores accumulate across games on this device: total points, average per game, and helper points for the friends who came through.

Settings

Question memory

Questions already played on this device stay out of new games until the bank runs dry. Reset to put every question back in play. Players and scores are kept.

Data management
